STUDIO A:

Studio A is a unique space designed with your comfort in mind. It's not just another recording studio filled with intimidating, expensive gear. Here, we believe in the power of simplicity and focus on what truly matters - helping you create great music.
At the heart of Studio A is an Audient ASP4816—an analog recording console that allows us to record up to 32 tracks at a time. We also use 2” 24-track and 1/2" mastering tape machines to give your final mix that sought-after old-school flavor. It's like stepping back into 1976, but with all the conveniences of modern technology.
Studio A includes tools such as Neve, API, SSL, Avalon, and Universal Audio preamps, equalizers, and compressors that you typically find only at larger studios. Our clients are particularly fond of the drum sound we achieve in Studio A’s live room. The technique is quite simple. Select microphones and preamps primarily of vintage flavor and apply them in the same ways that have been proven to work on countless famous recordings, the results of which are ultimately compared to that of Led Zeppelin and the Beatles. Our clients turn to us first for the elusive “Old-School” sound; we are confident you will, too. In addition to the 500 sq ft live room, Studio A boasts three isolation rooms with complete visibility so the whole band can see and hear each other. That makes recording your music feel awesome, just like playing in your living room.

Among the many studios I’ve had the privilege of working in since I began my career, ES Audio has been one of the best.
